The Research Institute for Tourism (RIT) is a non-profit organization founded in July 1996 by the initiative of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels and of other tourism agents, with main objective the study of the tourism sector in Greece and other competitive countries. The cooperation of the Department of Tourism Economics and Management with the RIT will concern issues and topics of common interests and purposes, in the context of a unified place of training and research in the field of Tourism, Human Resources Development, Sustainable Development, New Technologies, Entrepreneurship, Tourism Business Administration and others that fall within the framework and spirit of the above.

The University of West London (UWL) is a public university in the United Kingdom with campuses in Ealing, Brentford, Reading and Oxford. The history of UWL dates back to 1860 when the Lady Byron School was founded and later became the Ealing College of Higher Education. Today it includes nine Schools and Colleges and nine Research Centres including the International Centre for Hospitality and Aviation Resilience Management (ICHARM) of the London Geller College of Hospitality and Tourism. UWL is one of the leading universities in the UK for the quality of its teaching and curricula. The agreement between the Department of Tourism Economics and Management and the International Centre for Hospitality and Aviation Resilience Management (ICHARM) of UWL aims to strengthen research cooperation, organize joint international conferences, and summer schools in Greece, the United Kingdom, and other countries in topics of Tourism, Hospitality and Air Transport.

Chios Tourism Organization is a non-profit organization which was founded in June 2019 with the aim of economic and social development of the island of Chios through the promotion of tourism, cultural, and environmental resources of the region. The cooperation with the Chios Tourism Organization is part of a broader framework of strategic collaborations with a common axis the sustainable development of the island.

The Athens Development and Destination Management Agency, plans and implements development and promotional actions to enhance the image of the city, while operating as a destination management organization (DMO), to achieve the goal of promoting Athens as a tourist and business destination. The purpose of the cooperation with the Athens Development and Destination Management Agency is to create a framework of cooperation, goals, and respective fields of actions of mutual interest that the two bodies will seek to implement together, as well as to highlight initiatives to strengthen and create links between local communities and academia.

Hermes - Air Transport Organization is a non-governmental, non-profit organization based in Montreal, Canada that aims to highlight the importance of the aviation sector internationally. Members of Hermes - Air Transport Organization are natural persons-prominent personalities in the field of aviation internationally such as Managers/CEOs of airlines, airports, air navigation service providers, ground handling service providers, diplomats, academics and more. The members of Hermes - Air Transport Organization include Mrs. Aysha AlHameli, who was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Department of Tourism Economics and Management in July 2019. The agreement between our Department and Hermes - Air Transport Organization aims at a research and wider scientific cooperation as well as at the possibility of co-organizing conferences and/or other scientific events in the field of aviation.

The Department is a Member of the European EU PACT FOR SKILLS and Signatory of the Pact . The Pact is the first of the flagship actions under the European Skills Agenda and is firmly anchored in the European Pillar of Social Rights. The Pact for Skills is shared engagement model for skills development in Europe, where the multilevel actors and bodies such a companies, workers, national, regional and local authorities, social partners, cross-industry and sectoral organisations, education and training providers, chambers of commerce and employment services all have a key role to play in the development of tourism. The participation of the Department at the EU Pact for Skills is putting the academic and student community the at the forefront of the developments in the industrial ecosystem of tourism, while it supports the internationalization and extroversion of the Department, its teaching staff, students and researchers.
