Evaggelia Proiou

Evangelia Proiou is a member of the Special Technical Laboratory Personnel in the field of “Tourism and Regional Development” in the Department of Tourism Economics and Management in the University of the Aegean (UoA). She holds a Master of Science in “Planning, Management and Tourism Policy” from UoA, where she carried out her post-graduate study on the strategic orientations, objectives and priorities of tourism in special destinations. She also holds a four-year Bachelor of Arts in Economic and Regional Development Studies, from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. She has a long experience in research, implementation and consultancy in regional, national and European context. She has been a member of the Organizing Committee in several conferences, Symposiums and Workshops held by the UoA. She is teaching staff at the Dpt. of Tourism Economics and Management and an active member of the Laboratory of Innovative Tourism Entrepreneurship and Human Resources Development “iTED Lab”.
